Reporting a timing problem

If the click sounds uneven, drifts against a recording, or stutters, we want to hear about it, because timing is the only thing this site has to get right. Please say which browser and version you are using, what device and operating system, the tempo and subdivision you had set, and whether the tab was in the foreground. If you were running it against a DAW or another metronome, telling us how far apart they had drifted and over how long is the single most useful number you can send.

Sound that does not start

Browsers refuse to make sound until you have interacted with the page, so the first press of the button or the space bar is what wakes the audio up. If it stays silent after that, tell us the browser and whether anything appears in its console.

Feature requests, wording, accessibility problems, questions about the privacy policy or these terms, and advertising enquiries all go to the same address.

This is a small independent project rather than a company. Replies usually come within a few days, and reports of the click being wrong are always read.
